CrawlFaster collects information you provide directly, including your email address and name when you sign in via OAuth. We also collect the URLs you submit for indexing, your Google Cloud service account credentials (stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM), and usage data such as API quota consumption and submission history.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve CrawlFaster's services, including submitting URLs to Google's Indexing API on your behalf, tracking indexing status, and sending you operational notifications such as daily digest emails. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Google API Services

CrawlFaster uses Google APIs to submit URLs for indexing and to inspect URL indexing status. Your use of these features is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We store your Google Cloud service account private key in encrypted form and use it solely to authenticate API requests on your behalf.

4. Advertising

CrawlFaster's blog and other content pages may display advertisements served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-1051825252184436). Google and its partners use cookies — including Google advertising cookies — to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites, and to measure how ads perform.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to maintain your authentication state. We do not use tracking cookies for analytics beyond what is required for the service to function.

6. AI Chat Assistant

Our website uses an AI-powered chat assistant to provide faster support and information. When you use this chat feature: your messages are processed by our AI vendor's servers to generate responses; we retain chat transcripts for quality assurance and product improvement; chat data is handled in accordance with our data retention policies; chat transcripts are not sold to third parties; you may request deletion of your chat data by contacting us at privacy@crawlfaster.com. A consent notice is displayed before your first interaction with the chat assistant. By proceeding past the consent notice, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described above.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and URL submission history for as long as your account is active. You may delete your service account credentials and URL queue at any time from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including AES-256-GCM encryption of service account private keys, HTTPS-only transmission, and HTTP-only session cookies. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact Taciturn Studios LLC at privacy@crawlfaster.com or use the account management features within CrawlFaster.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of CrawlFaster after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
